Introducing an AI-powered color grading toolkit for video editors that utilizes a Pi agent to enhance your editing process. This innovative tool offers direct control over ffmpeg, enabling seamless analysis and correction of your footage. Originally crafted for Sony S-Log workflows, it supports all footage formats compatible with ffmpeg.

Communicate with the Pi agent using natural language, allowing it to leverage specialized color grading tools. The agent operates on an iterative workflow: analyze, correct, re-analyze, and refine, ensuring optimal results by continuously evaluating preview images and adjusting accordingly.

No need for npm installations, as extensions load directly through Pi. Simply instruct the agent to execute tasks like import, scene detection, hero grading, shot matching, consistency verification, and export. The agent reads FCPXML files to resolve media paths and organizes clips within an internal timeline.

Grading can be exported using exportroundtrip or through a single concatenated output. For Premiere users, while FCPXML is not native, two workflows remain available. Corrections are composable, with the agent constructing an ffmpeg filter chain from given parameters. Additional .cube LUT files can be added to the luts/ directory as needed.

All working data—timeline states, preview frames, and scope renders—are stored in the automatically created .color-grader-tmp/ directory, which can be deleted at any time.
